Stratos End-User License Agreement

1. License grant

Stratos is distributed free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use one copy of Stratos on devices you own or control.

2. Permitted use

• Run Stratos on your own machine to develop, test, and debug software.
• Use Stratos at work for the same purpose, on machines you administer.
• Modify the bundled PHP, nginx, MariaDB, Redis, and dnsmasq configurations produced by Stratos to fit your workflow.

3. Prohibited use

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or rent the Stratos binary.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Stratos binary, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
• Use Stratos as part of a hosted service offered to third parties without written permission.
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels.

4. Updates

Stratos may check for updates at launch. You can disable this inSettings → General → Update channel. Updates are provided on the same terms as the original version.

5. Data and privacy

Stratos does not collect telemetry. See the privacy policy for the complete data practices.

6. No warranty

Stratos is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of Stratos is with you.

7. Limitation of liability

In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — arising from, out of, or in connection with Stratos or the use or other dealings in Stratos.

8. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. On termination you must uninstall Stratos and remove its support directory.

9. Changes to this agreement

The terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted inside the app on next launch, and the in-appSettings → About page will show the currently effective version. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance.
