Import from Herd or Valet (1.5.0)
Preview project links, PHP versions, and domain conflicts before switching environments.
In Stratos 1.5.0, open Sites → Import Herd / Valet and choose a project, parked folder, or linked Sites directory.
- Review each detected domain, alias, and PHP version. Projects with domain conflicts cannot be selected.
- PHP pins are read from .stratos/php-version, legacy .herd-rs/php-version, .valetphprc, .php-version, or supported herd.yml/stratos.yml settings. If no pin exists, the preview explicitly uses the Stratos default.
- Select projects and import. Stratos saves links and metadata in its own configuration; it does not move project folders or rename herd.yml.
- Stop Herd or Valet web services before starting Stratos. Check networking and HTTPS with Site Doctor. Existing certificates and database data are not imported.
Undo Last Import removes the latest batch of Stratos links and stops those projects’ workers. Source projects, databases, and the previous tool configuration are preserved. Individual imported projects can also be unlinked from their site details.
This assistant supports the settings listed above; it does not translate arbitrary custom Nginx configuration or automatically switch another app’s DNS services.
